Kaya the pittie was slated to be euthanized at the shelter, but thankfully, this couple was able to get to her first. She took her freedom walk right out of there and into her foster home!

When she started to show a bit of a belly, they thought it was from overfeeding. But that wasn’t the case at all. It turned out Kaya was pregnant! No one knew…

When the pittie finally went into labor, the couple was prepared to comfort her. They thought she was done at puppy number 15, but a half hour later the heavy panting returned. Another puppy, bringing the total to 16, was brought into the world. Wow! 🙂
